Count if is an excel function to count cells in a range that meet a single condition.Count if can be used to count cells that contain dates, numbers and text.The criteria used in count if supports logical operators(>,<,<>,=) and wild cards(  *,?) for partial matching.

Ans= a) SELECT a cell

b) TYPE=Count if

c) Double click the count if command

d) Select a range.

e) TYPE

f)  Select a cell (the criteria the value that you want to count)

h) Hit enter.

2) What does count() do in excel.

Ans= The count function counts the number of cells that contain numbers and counts number within the list of arguments use the count function to get the number of entire in a number field that is in a range or array of numbers.
