EXCEL allows you to sort the data in your spread sheets ino order. For example alphabetical order or reverse alphabetical order. This is a tricky technique to master because in some situations you can accidentally sort one row or column and not another which will mess up a spreadsheet. These tricky man oeuvres are the reason why it's necessary to take a proper well organised excel course.

Ans When you sort data you are putting data it in order filtering data lets you hide unimportant data and focus only on the data yor're interested in.

Ans Efficient sorting is important for optimizing the efficiency of other algorithms (such as search and merge algorithms) that require input data to be sorted list.sorting is also often useful for canonicelizing data and for producing human readable output.
